Kansas City Brigade - Just Like You, But Not Really

Kansas City Brigade

Kansas City Brigade players aren't millionaires in the NFL, and they're not amateurs. They're just like you, but not really.

The "Just like you, but not really" campaign is one of three pitched to the Kansas City Brigade during the Barkley mentorship in 2008.

Brigade players wear very large clothing. To show their massive, custom clothing items matching clothes on the rack are displayed at local department stores. The curious customer can look at the tag and see it's what a Brigade player wears every day. The tagline reads, "Just like you, but not really."
To keep up with rigorous conditioning, Kansas City Brigade players need to eat a ton of food. A very long grocery list is placed in a grocery cart, giving the effect of someone who accidentally left it there. The list includes an abnormally large amount of meat, dairy, eggs, etc. Also handwritten are the player names, Kansas City Brigade logo and tagline.
